mini-point-6-14-09I  adopted I Won’t Back Down by Tom Petty as my personal anthem after diagnosis and gave the Greatest Hits CD to the surgical team to play in the OR before I went under anesthesia.  When the surgeons came out later to brief my family, they remarked that they enjoyed “rockin’ to Tom” during the 6-hour surgery.

These days whenever I hear this song it inspires me anew to never give in to the EBC!   Click on the link above to rock with me!
